Well, it’s the first week back and school. Things are going very well and I’m so happy that Andrew is happy. He likes his new teacher, enjoys music class and has made a new friend on the bus. He especially loves his new clothes and shoes.
Now that the boys are sharing a bedroom I only have room for one Chester that I use for both of their clothes. This means out with the old and in with the new.
Andrew was an only child for 5 years before Axel came along. I used to just give away his clothes and shoes but now that the family is growing with boys I have decided to save the nicer items to be handed down to Axel and Gabriel.
I picked up a few bins from target and started sorting. These things are excellent for stacking and because we are a military family, they move easily too.
I also took his shoes and placed them into baggies. This will help me to keep the pairs together and clean. Now when I open them in a few years it will be like Christmas morning without spending any money. Please share with me some of your hand-me-down storing tips in the comments below.
